Filling the Void with a Water Fountain

Growing up on Lake Superior in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I missed the sound of water lapping on the rocky shores of our property when I moved away. I tried soothing that longing by visiting other small lakes that were near my new home. Or listening to white noise or natural sound of water gurgling on a CD, but it never helped. It wasn’t home. It was never the sound of Lake Superior.

After searching the internet one day for random water products, I ran across the water fountains that Serenity Health offers. I was intrigued. How would these water fountains sound? Wouldn’t one just sound wonderful in my home and compliment my den? Or my flower garden? I looked at each product carefully. Each type of material that the water fountain was made of would generate a different sound. I finally decided to go with the Sunrise Springs Wall Fountain by Adagio. It is a copper wall fountain with square edges and pebbles. I picked this one because the copper reminded me of my hometown’s historical background and the water fountain sounded great!

Now I can sit in my den, by my fireplace in the evening, drinking my cup of coffee or tea, reading a book or my latest magazine, listening to the steady rhythm of streaming water from my water fountain. My water fountain has been the greatest relaxation product I have bought in the last few years. It makes my feel like I am sitting by the great lake relaxing.
