Latest Kick: Solar Fountains, Solar Birdbaths, Solar Wind Chimes & More

It seems like everywhere I go there is a new solar product. I went back to my hometown for Christmas and my mother was all excited about her new solar wind chime. She had the wind chime strategically placed in the window and it sure was busy once the winter sun showered it with rays.

I was amazed on how far the solar energy concept was taken, but the solar wind chime offered great background music to our family gatherings. Over the couple days I was home, it was interesting how much the sun shifted in and out of clouds or didn’t shine at all!

But, seeing the results of the wind chimes on my mother I knew that a solar fountain would be a much appreciated gift for her garden. A great mother’s day gift, I am thinking, and just in time for the new birth of flowers and spring. Also, my mother is the queen of conversing energy. Growing up, her famous line was “let’s turn some lights off kids!” Solar fountains are perfect for her because she won’t have the extra cords or electricity concerns for her garden, but she’ll have the same beauty as an electric garden fountain!

I can just see her face, she will be pleased.
