Bean Bag Furniture Uses

lounger.jpgLooking for new uses of bean bag furniture was my goal today and I used YouTube as my resource. The results were interesting and the video clips were fun!

I could add a few links in here, but to tell you the truth many of the YouTube videos were of children doing flips over chairs or pulling tricks on other people, all involving bean bag furniture. I chuckled, because it reminded me of my childhood. We always found different ways to use my mother’s furniture! She was never too amused!

Anyway, I did find some neat ideas from my field trip to YouTube. One thing that is neat about bean bag furniture is that they can reshape to a person and their size. And depending on how large or what type of bean bag you are using you can have support for every major joint or limb in your body - your legs, hips, back, neck, shoulders - you can be surrounded with comfort!

With the thought of comfort in your mind, here are a few places you can use bean bag furniture:

  1. A home office
  2. A corporate office
  3. A gaming room
  4. A family room

In a home office, you can set up your  computer table and working desk to be the correct height that would allow you to work from a bean bag chair or lounger. This provides a comfortable place for you to sit and work. A bean bag chair also lets you sit back and relax when you are on a conference call. When you are working from home, why wouldn’t you create an atmosphere that motivates you and lets you work in the most productive way?

A corporate office can use the many different bean bag chairs and loungers offered because they would provide an area where employees can unwind and relax. Having bean bag loungers and chairs would be great in a conference room where internal meetings always take place. If your employees are relaxed they may be more creative and more willing to share what is on their minds. Formal settings are great and are needed sometimes, but when your employees are spending 40 to 60 hours in the workplace, they need a spot to tune out the workplace noise and generate new energy.

Playing PlayStation and all of the other games out there, it would be great to have bean bag chairs as the sitting area of your gaming station. If you don’t have a game room, then having a piece of furniture that you can quickly move if needed would be beneficial on those days when you get unexpected company! Bean Bags are cheaper than a Lazy Boy and easier to move, enhance your gaming set up with a bean bag lounger or  bean bag sacs.

And last, but not least, I think I’ve said this before, but a family room would also be a great place to have bean bag chairs. Imagine those Sunday afternoons when you are playing games with the family, the couch was too far away and a little too high, but a bean bag or bean bag floor pillow would be just the right height when the floor gets too hard.  These bean bags would let you be close enough to the game to still make your moves, but will provide you the comfort you need to last another two hours of board games!

To me, bean bags inspire creativity and thinking outside the box. Try something new at home or in the office and watch to see if there is change in the outlooks of work and playing games all afternoon! The investment may pay off!
