What role does the atmosphere or setting of an area play on the customer or end user’s mind? How does it influence the consumer to make a purchase or generate a response to return again, and again?

Marketing research shows that a customer will most likely come back to a store, a restaurant, motel, resort - you name it - if the experience is positive. What can ensure a positive experience? Of course, great customer service, organization of building and lay out, open spaces that lack clutter or confusion, and uniqueness or items that draw in the customers like the photo shown.

Think of your favorite store, you might not shop there often, but you have the desire to return because of the layout, the colors, the customer service and the feeling that you are welcomed to browse as long as you want.

Think of your favorite restaurant…how about your favorite motel? Do you prefer staying at bed and breakfasts or a chain motel? When you visit an area over again, why do you most often go back to the last place you stayed at?

Obviously, the place, the decor, the atmosphere spoke to you and its nice being able to go back and enhance your memory and experience!
