Water Fountains as a Focal Point

I had a baby shower at my house this weekend and I have to tell you, the water fountains quickly became a conversation piece and ice breaker for those who didn’t know each other and it made me feel great that people noticed something in my home decor (being I am not much of an interior decorator!)

I have the Raku Basin Fountain outside as kind of the first thing people see when they walk up to the house.  I noticed as people were walking up the driveway that they would stop and look and talk!  Very nice to see and once they walked to the door it was an easy conversation piece to meet and greet.

I also have a water fountain on one of the end tables in my living room.  This provided a calming effect to the shower as water continuously flowed down the slate into the copper basin of the water fountain creating soothing water sounds.  The fountain was a great addition to the people, gifts and somewhat loud nature of the baby shower.

Lastly, I have to tell you that I have two water fountains on my deck.  One is the garden wall fountain, the Sun Wall Fountain and the other is the Ceramic Solar Frog Fountain.  I got comments on both and everyone loved how cute the frog was on the solar fountain as he spit water that made the beautiful water sounds. 

I just wanted to share this with you as I was very impressed by the comforting camaraderie my water fountains created and I assure you, whether you have a wall fountain, tabletop fountain or a floor standing fountain it is sure to draw attention and not only give you the calming feeling a water fountain should but will quickly become the focal point of your decor and you will find hundreds of choices at Serenity Health.
