Summer is Solar Fountain Season

Water fountains retailer Water Fountain Place announced that its full stock of solar fountains is available for the season. Now that the full selection is out, there’s no better time for you to go with a solar fountain. These make excellent garden water fountains and aren’t bad indoor fountains either.

Solar fountains have several advantages compared to traditional outdoor fountains. One of them is portability; there’s no need to take an extension cord to the middle of your garden when all you need it a connection between your water fountain and the solar panel. A solar fountain is also a suitable indoor water fountain for any sunny area, such as a solarium, enclosed porch, or anywhere with full length windows. Again, you can put it anywhere without marring your interior with extension cords.

A solar fountain is also the first choice for anyone interested in “green,” sustainable living. A solar fountain is self-contained, so it doesn’t put stress on the electrical grid. This is an important summertime consideration in many communities, where air conditioning creates heavy demand and even brownouts during the warmest days. Your solar outdoor fountain won’t contribute to that problem and even during periods of low usage, won’t be drawing power from emission-causing sources like coal.

Solar fountains are also great choice for cottage décor and other “off-grid” locations. Another example would be a bunkhouse on a country estate. Just take the fountain out when you open up for the season. Again, you don’t need any wire to the grid, so you can take a solar fountain nearly anywhere. This makes in another great garden fountain or indoor fountain for new couples and families: people who move more frequently and need everything to be easy to ship and set up. Instead of leaving your water fountain behind, you can pack it in the knowledge that you can place it in any sunny section of your new home. Nothing but a basement apartment can force you to give your solar fountain up.
