Time to Clean your Outdoor Fountains
Now that is is mid-June, most of us, even those of us in WI, have been enjoying our outdoor and garden fountains for a month or two now. In order to keep them looking fresh and beautiful it is time for a little water fountain TLC! This is generally easy to do and will prolong the life of your outdoor fountains.
Algae and white scale build up is common in outdoor water fountains because generally hard water is used. No matter what you put in your fountain, both algae and calcium deposits will happen over time but there are some great products that can be used to prolong build up and keep your garden fountains looking clear and fresh.
There are several fountain care products available and depending on they size fountain you have or if you have animals or birds that frequent your outdoor fountain your choice of the best product may vary.
